What's the Word, the Wordle up?

Wordle

A picture is worth a thousand words.... Well in this case that can be a true statement! Though I will say that I've never tried to type a thousand words into the program so I'm not quite sure if that is actually possible. I love this particular website for a fun new twist on a word collage. It allows you to change your text, colors, randomize it, etc... It provides more choices now than it did in previous years. So if you click on the link above, it will take you to the website.

Step 1:
Create your Wordle

Step 2:
Type or paste your text for your Wordle

Step 3:
Customize your text

Step 4:
Customize your color scheme (You also have the option to make your own custom palette with color codes of your choice)

Step 5:
Check out the gallery to browse the ones saved on the public file

You can print them, save them to the gallery, or even screencap them for use later. The next time you need to spruce up a presentation or just want to try something different, consider creating a Wordle. If you already use Wordle, please feel free to share how you've used it in your own personal classroom.
